Apogee Engineering is seeking a Student Manager in Montgomery, AL to support the Air University with managing all aspects of student logistics to create a positive learning experience.

  • Build classes, allocate quotas, register, and graduate students in the AU registration system, course and the learning content/management system
  • Serve as course support function to track academic progress and validate program completion
  • Coordinate with MAJCOM training requirement managers on student requirements
  • Update AU systems and SharePoint sites with course changes and student reporting instructions
  • Conduct primary regular interaction with students regarding course enrollment, school welcome, lodging, transportation, and other information
  • Provide monthly statistics covering enrollments, drops and graduations to the course directors
  • Graduate the students by processing their names for insertion in military and civilian personnel data system and AU systems
  • Collect, record and provide a summary gathered by student feedback forms
  • Provide weekly status reports and attend faculty development meetings/training

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in student management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products
  • Experience working with DoD class rosters and course management preferred
  • Experience with learning management systems preferred
  • Office environment that will require frequent computer and phone and radio usage, sitting, standing, and walking
  • Busy and open environment that at times can make it difficult to concentrate and to hear
  • May require some lifting estimated to be under 20 pounds
  • Core hours are generally held to be 7:30 AM " 4:30 PM, exceptions must be approved by contract leadership
